REGARDING COVID-19 & FRM
The Panic: Helping vs. hurting…?
With ongoing fears of the COVID-19 outbreaks, FRM is concerned about the health and well-being of all who come to our doors. As the city’s only shelter for men, women and children, we cannot shut down amidst these cold temperatures.
FRM is grateful to all the support we have received over the years. Again we are asking the community to provide where we have a need. Our recent toilet paper order did not make it to our shelter and empty shelves in stores are making it difficult to feed our guests and keep the facility clean. FRM will humbly accept any TOILET PAPER, SOAP & CLOROX WIPES you may be able to spare or monetary donations. Your support is deeply appreciated in these times of great need.
Precautions:
FRM is diligently establishing precautions and health procedures for our shelter to eliminate the possibility for outbreaks. We are working with public health facilities and following updates provided by the CDC.
We have already established hand washing stations, hand sanitizing stations and efforts to keep the facility clean. We are also actively educating everyone about the symptoms and what to do if they experience any symptoms.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us! Thank you again for your understanding and support.
FRM FREE MEALS
The mission statement of FRM is “To serve Christ and our community by addressing the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional and social well-being of all those whom God brings to our doors.” One way we accomplish this is to provide three free meals every day to anyone in need. We fully intend to continue to provide for our community in this way, even in the face of the virus threat.
If you are in need of any meal, you are welcome at the Rescue Mission. We will be providing to-go meals at our front desk during our scheduled meal times:
Breakfast is served at 7:00 AM
Lunch is served at noon
Dinner is served at 5:30 PM
