First AME Church

This was one of my favorite days at the Mission. First AME came in on a Saturday and just blessed us all with music and food. I was filled with awe at how our people interacted with the church volunteers, even throwing a football around and requesting songs. I have rarely seen our residents so comfortable to relax with "outsiders" coming in. It was a day truly blessed by God. The diversity of God's people shone out and I felt like God was smiling down on us. --Brenda, FRM Volunteer Coordinator
