1st Annual “No One Left Behind” Awards
The Fairbanks Rescue Mission and the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District invite you to submit your recommendation of one or more Emergency Responders of the Year for the “No One Left Behind” awards banquet. We will be honoring multiple emergency responders to include personnel in Firefighting, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Medical Services in the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
Leadership in each emergency responder organization will choose their unit-level awardee(s), and the community is invited to nominate personnel for community-level awards. Should you choose to submit a nomination, we ask that you submit the nominee’s name and a brief paragraph describing their accomplishments.
Your submission will be reviewed by a panel consisting of the JROTC members at Lathrop and North Pole high schools.
Submissions must include a brief synopsis of the nominee’s accomplishments in order to be considered. Submissions must be received no later than September 16, 2016.

Alaska State Troopers-Detachment D
The mission of the Division of Alaska State Troopers is to preserve the peace, enforce the law, prevent and detect crime, and protect life and property.
The Division is comprised of posts assigned to five geographic detachments that provide patrol, enforcement, and search and rescue to all areas of the state and a central headquarters. The Division's major components are: Alaska Bureau of Investigation investigates major crimes and enforces bootlegging and illegal drug distribution throughout Alaska; Judicial Services is responsible for prisoner transports and providing security for Alaska courts; and the Alaska Bureau of Highway Patrol keeps Alaska's highways safe by their presence on state roadways and through public education campaigns.
North Pole Police Department
City of North Pole Police The North Pole Police Department is here to serve the citizens and visitors of our fair city. Since becoming a city in 1953, we have strived to provide the best service to our community and do so today with the most up to date equipment, training, and qualified personnel.
In addition to both our full-time commissioned and civilian personnel, the North Pole Police Department has a police reserve organization called the North Pole Police Reserve Association (NPPRA), which was established in 1993

The University Fire Department exists to provide effective fire, rescue, and emergency medical services while preparing student employees for leadership in emergency services.
UAF Police Department
Our mission is a simple one: To provide a safe and secure environment for the staff, students, and visitors to campus. This commitment assures the University community that the police department will maintain constant vigilance over their property and personal safety. Our department employs professional sworn police officers and with our excellent emergency dispatch staff, we provide twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week service to the campus community. The UAF Police, Emergency Communication Center, and the professionals that comprise our department are integral parts of this campus community we proudly serve. We are honored for the opportunity to do so.
Eielson Air Force Base 354th Emergency Medical Services
The 354th Medical Group provides outpatient primary healthcare under the TRICARE program for all eligible beneficiaries living in the Eielson area. In addition, a collocated dental clinic provides general dental care for all active-duty military members. Pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray and immunizations services are located in the clinic. Bassett Army Community Hospital on Fort Wainwright serves as Eielson clinic's primary referral source for specialty and inpatient care.
Eielson Air Force Base 354th Readiness and Emergency Management
"We are more or less, the calm in the middle of a storm," said Staff Sgt. Russell Gray 354th Force Support Squadron readiness technician and mortuary affairs NCO in charge. "We help bring peace to family members and their units by letting them know that their fellow teammates and loved-ones were taken care of with honor and dignity."
