Twin Bears Camp is a state park facility located at milepost 30 on Chena Hot Springs Road, about 35 miles east of Fairbanks. It is on a small secluded lake in a rustic, woodland setting within the Chena River State Recreation Area.
The camp features thirteen rustic cabins with sleeping platforms and mattresses for 6 to 8 each and two insulated handicap-accessible buildings with heat & cooking facilities. In summer, hot and cold running water and electricity are available, enabling a full-service kitchen and shower houses. There are areas for outdoor activities and a group fire ring with a picnic table at the pond's edge. In winter, wood stoves provide heat and there is a propane stove for cooking. A five-kilometer cross-country ski trail loop is available and snow machines have easy access to the nearby Chena Hot Springs Winter Trail and connecting trails.
The camp can accommodate 100 people. 50 people can be seated in the dining hall.
