Kids can help, too!

In 2007 the Fairbanks Rescue Mission provided 4,634 nights of shelter for children.

It is hard to think about a child with no place to call home. Imagine a child with no warm bed to sleep in; think of a child that doesn't know where the next meal is coming from. This happens in the world, even in Fairbanks.

There are things that kids can do to help other kids:

  • Collect food and take it to the Mission.

  • Clean out your room and give items of clothing and toys.

  • Have a toy drive and collect toys from your friends.

  • If you are old enough, volunteer to help!
