The Fairbanks Rescue Mission was founded to provide service to the poor,
needy, homeless and
transient population of Fairbanks. The Mission tries to meet both
spiritual and physical needs in
helping people to be restored to a correct relationship with God and
a productive relationship with society. As an arm of the Christian
church, the Mission ministers to the least, the last and the lost.
More about the Fresh Start Program Fresh Start is a residential recovery and relapse prevention program with Genesis curriculum. Building on the foundation of transforming lives through Jesus Christ, the Fresh Start Program exists to encourage men and women in preparation for societal living through Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Emotional, Social programs.
Specific Program Objectives: · To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. · To serve your spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, and social needs. · To promote Christ-like spiritual maturity. · To encourage participate with local evangelical churches. · To prepare for return to society and become a productive member of the community.
Everything we do at the Fairbanks Rescue Mission has as its purpose to follow the will of God and honor the name of Jesus Christ.
