LEARNING CENTER
The Learning Center is computer-enhanced and can take a person who does not even know the alphabet all the way through GED preparation and on into some college level classes. Besides the academic areas, there are modules to help people learn life skills (so they can stand on their feet), computer training, as well as other job training modules. This aspect of our program is currently being revised. Please contact our Executive Director if you are interested in helping!

Tours of the Fairbanks Rescue Mission tours are available everyday at 2 PM. Come see the services we provide first hand. Learn how we make your $15.50 matter to so many people. Call the Mission at 452-5343 to make your tour reservations.

We
give special thanks to the group pictured here. These seven men
came to Fairbanks from New York to help at the Mission and to
assist with the Yukon Quest. They braved the extreme cold of a
Fairbanks winter to reach out and minister to others! Because of
their efforts the Mission now has an up and running computer
lab. As we work to mentor people to return to the workplace a
computer lab is a necessity! We thank them for the time they
spent at the Mission.
