OUR PROGRAMS |
The magic number is $15.50
You can take a friend to a matinee, buy three mochas or provide food, shelter and safety for one person for one day. $15.50 helps provide:
MEALS: Three meals a day are served seven days a week to anyone in need.
SHOWERS: Facilities are available for men, women and children. Toiletries are available. Available seven days a week.
SPIRITUAL SUPPORT: Chapel services every evening. Community churches ministers to residence and provide guidance.
SAFETY: Clients send and receive mail at the Mission Day Labor coordination Employment assistance
A HELPING HAND, NOT A HAND OUT
The number of homeless woman and children continue to rise. Many people are struggling to provide for themselves and their children on minimum wage. Their wages cannot pay for rent, utilities, car and insurance payments, and food. Many become dependant on the welfare system and soon find themselves on the street.
We are a working mission. If you are a resident at the mission and can work, you must work. All residents work three hours a day at the mission.
