SPECIAL EVENTS & ongoing activities
Check this page often to keep abreast of upcoming community outreach and fundraising events for the Fairbanks Rescue Mission.
ONGOING EVENTS:
Community Chapel Service is held daily from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Sunday Church Service is held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Many Interior Alaskan congregations provide chapel speakers and music groups.
Health Clinics: Throughout the year we participate in free Health Clinics for low income community members. Check back for dates.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Fairbanks Rescue Mission Anniversary: Our doors first opened on Valentine's Day, 1973 and every year on that day we host a celebratory event.
Riverboat Dinner Cruise & Auction: This annual fundraiser features, great views, a delicious meal, live music, and silent auction. Check back to get your ticket for the 2008 event.
National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week falls every year in November.
The Great American Banquet: This Thanksgiving event is held by members of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions across the nation.
Veteran's Day: This November event honors the 32% of clients who are veterans.
